What to expect at a Salvation Army church

Salvation Army churches are called corps, and many run community services alongside Sunday meetings. A Sunday meeting usually has contemporary or brass-band music, Bible reading, a talk and prayer, and runs about an hour. The atmosphere is usually informal and welcoming to newcomers.
