Privacy

Church Near Me is free to use and has no ads. Here is everything we do with information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, so we can make it better. It uses cookies. See how Google uses this information. We don't sell or share your data with anyone.

"Near me" and your location

If you choose "Use my location", your browser asks your permission first. Your approximate location is then sent to our server only to find churches near you. It is rounded to about a kilometre, never logged and never stored.

Searching

The search box works entirely in your browser. What you type isn't sent to us.

Settings on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers that choice. It stays on your device.

If you email us

We use your email only to reply and to fix the listing you told us about. Church pages only ever show a church's organisational contact details, never personal ones.
