What to expect at a Lutheran church

Lutheran churches in Australia mostly belong to the Lutheran Church of Australia. A Sunday service usually follows a set order with hymns, readings, a sermon, prayers and often Holy Communion, and runs about an hour. A printed order or screen helps you follow along. Some congregations hold services in German or other languages.
